Secure
The world will tell you lots of lies;
be alert and ready – not surprised.
The demons fight to have you deceived,
so in Jesus you might not believe.
When the questions come, as they will,
check God’s Word, not what you feel.
Ask Him sincerely to reveal
what is the right, the truth, the real.
Thoughts that tell you God isn’t there,
He did not make us and doesn’t care,
are from Satan so we despair
the one true God and from Him tear.
If you step out life to find
in your own wisdom, strength and mind,
life will be meaningless, incomplete,
for God alone our lives complete.
He is our Father, a mighty God,
who knows all and is in control.
He will guide, love, keep you pure,
so in this troubled world you’ll be secure.
