Cast Down
Today I feel cast down;
I feel that I could drown.
The sky, though blue, seems grey;
somehow I’ve lost my way.
Your Word is still my stay;
Jesus, the same always.
God cannot change, so remains
my Hope in hurt and pain.
I know He will deliver;
I know He loves me ever;
I know that He is with me;
God’s Spirit guarantees.
