Knowing that God loves me:
for my sin He gave His life,
how He made me in His image;
and chose me to be His child…
These, the keys to reassurance,
security and peace;
giving worth and purpose…
And God’s love will never cease!
I don’t have to stress to make it,
nor demand another’s love,
fill my life with style to look right;
fullness is from Christ above.
So if life has cheated or betrayed you,
your heart filled with pain and tears,
look up to the Saviour’s love
and be delivered from your fears.
