Some days when I wake, I feel just like this: cast down. I need to stop and realize though I feel like this, God does not change and is there waiting to help and comfort me. Hence this short poem. It changes my day
Cast Down
Today I feel cast down;
feel that I could drown.
The sky, though blue, seems grey;
somehow I’ve lost my way.
Your Word is still my stay;
Jesus, the same always.
God cannot change, so remains
my Hope in hurt and pain.
I know He will deliver;
I know He loves me ever;
I know that He is with me;
The Spirit is my Surety.
