A prayer for the beginning of each new day!
As a New Day Begins
A new day has begun:
the sun has risen and reminds
how fresh Your faithfulness.
I praise You, Lord, for You are kind.
Your promises stand new:
You’ll be with me all day through;+
the blood of Jesus washes clean;
Your Spirit indwells too.
I praise You for Your Being;
for the awesome Bible story;
I praise You for Your greatness;
praise for the hope of Glory,
I come into Your presence;
with boldness wait on You.
I want Your every blessing
in all I say and do.
Your strength I ask, for I am weak,
power to do Your will,
perseverance to not give in;
may Your love my being fill.
I praise You for Your wisdom,
Your comfort in life’s hurts,
courage to serve others
and not with the world to flirt.
Thank You for constant guidance;
thank You every need
is fully met in Jesus.
Yours the glory!….. I will heed.
