God Is Here
A new day!
And God is here!
The sun came up;
wind blows the trees;
birds are singing;
hens are cackling.
Full the air;
God ever cares!
I may feel bright;
I may be in pain,
depressed or sad,
but God stays the same:
true and knowing,
faithful, loving,
abounds with grace…..
In Christ, I’m safe.
He speaks to me;
His words I trust.
Where He leads,
follow, I must.
If skies stay blue
or dark clouds loom,
He changes not
whatever lot.
God’s promise rings
He will not leave!
Always present
cares to ease,
providing strength to enable
and His love will keep me stable.
His Spirit in me is the token
His covenant never will be broken.
