Dear young people, will you listen
to these words to make you wise,
succeed and prosper in your life,
no matter what before you lies?
If you forget it’s God who made you,
you will never build on truth,
be complete, know true happiness
as an adult or a youth.
For God loved and made us for Himself:
obey Him, learn to trust!
Do not live without Him, for yourself,
but be real with God, you must.
He holds you close to Him.
Your life is in His hands.
He knows what’s best for you
and will guide you with His plans.
You may not understand
and things turn out not as you’ve planned.
Life may be hard, unfair,
but God’s promises still stand.
In everything He works for good,
so trust Him as He said.
Walk with Jesus everyday
and you’ll know that you are blessed.
