I want to tell you, friend,
of the One who lived and died
and what happened to my soul
when He delivered me from pride.
He walked the dusty roads
and spoke of Kingdom love,
not the kingdoms of this world,
but the Kingdom from above.
He loved the sinner and the outcast;
He healed the sick and lame.
All who would in Him believe
received forgiveness for their blame.
Yet they hated Him and crucified,
but God had planned His life to give.
He loved so much, to die He must
and rise that we might live.
That’s why I love Him so!
He lives to be my King,
my Shepherd, Saviour, Refuge, Friend;
He is my everything!
