It hurts to see and share
the pain of a fallen world.
It hurts to live in evil times
with abuse, corruption, crime.
The world has this forgotten:
It does have a Creator!
Everyone does what is right
in their own futile sight.
But God still is and always will be
God eternally.
He’s sovereign over every land;
their kings and queens, rulers, man.
He will fulfil His promised plan;
one day He’ll make wrong, right.
Today, a day of grace for lost;
Paradise has not been tossed!
An unexpected day will come…
a fiercesome, awful day!
God’s fire and wrath we face
if refused His gift of grace.
Every thoughtless word and deed,
all Godless, selfish living,
unjust, cruel acts and thoughts…
each to judgment will be brought.
A new earth and heavens He’ll make;
they will never fade or shake.
Righteousness, peace and joy won’t wane;
there, Jesus in His Kingdom reigns.
Gone will be wrong and wicked things;
gone will be suffering, pain and sin.
Only those made like to Him,
washed in His blood, can enter in.
