This year… and last
have left us aghast
Many tremble with fear
for things gone which were dear.
And the next year… and next
we can’t fathom a guess.
The world’s in a mess
and looks to itself for success.
But the Creator, the Saviour – Jesus, His name –
is able and willing any to save.
He came to the world: the reason for Christmas!
He’s risen; He’s just: believe Him we must.
