There is much these days to cause us fright 
and many do despair,
but this need not be for God’s child
who is always in His care.
He tells us, “Never fear!”
We are safe as He is near.
Run to Him when troubles come;
His arms in love cocoon those dear.
Out there the world is evil;
people fight and war, are greedy.
But for His precious children,
God provides when they are needy.
Jesus warned there would be wars,
earthquakes, famines, tribulations.
Do not let your heart be anxious;
of the end, they’re indications.
Jesus will come back again!
The earth and heavens He’ll make anew
and we’ll live with Him in glory
without a tear or trouble too.
So heed what God has spoken,
trust Him and you’ll not fear.
Let Him fulfil His purpose in you
to live abundantly each year.
