If eternally You have loved me as You said,
then You will not now change and reject me as I am.

If You sealed me with Your Spirit – this You plainly said –
how can I not be changed, fitted for glory ahead.

As Jesus rose from the grave exactly as He said,
I shall live eternally and be resurrected from the dead.

You are the same today as yesterday
and will be the same tomorrow.
Thus I lift my heart, praise Your name
and You forever I will follow.
