Glory
The glory of an orchid!
The glory of a seed!
The glory of a tiny ant!
The glory of the seas!
The glory of the sun
and the stars that shine at night!
The glory of a little bird
and an eagle’s wings in flight!
There is glory in a storm!
And in peaceful, balmy skies!
In pets and beasts and cattle,
and the simple joys of life.
The glory of a baby!
Of innocence and youth!
The glory of the mind!
The glory of the “Truth”!
The glory of a hug, a smile,
of kindness and compassion,
of humbleness and serving,
there is glory in what matters!
Each glory is reflection
of the One who planned and made.
They reveal to us Your Being:
all glorious and worthy!
Forgive, forgive, O Father
when Your glory we not sight
or deny and mar Your glory
placing “us” above Your light.
The glory of the Cross of Jesus
is glory like no other!
No beauty seen at Calvary:
blood, pain, injustice His!
But that cruel, shameful Cross
declared the ultimate of love:
The Holy One to die for sin
chose to this world to come.
And glory upon glory:
He rose in glory from the dead!
In Heaven He lives in Glory
to save His people for this end!

A beautiful symphony of thoughts about our Heavenly Father……His greatness and, yes, His Glory.
