From the fires of life…
their tears and their pain,
God is refining:
gold to reclaim.
From our wretchedness, shame,
with nothing to boast,
God cleanses and covers
with His righteous robe.
From our blindness to truth,
the darkness of sin,
God opens our eyes
and brings healing within.
Jesus is knocking
to come and dine.
When we open the door,
new life we will find.
