You Alone
To You I lift my heart and soul
the only God who lives!
The Creator of the heavens and earth:
all life in them You give.
In You alone we move and have our very being;
You alone are Lord
of empires, nations, kings.
You alone the Saviour
from every kind of sin.
You alone seek the lost
and lift us from our pits.
You alone the One
who changes from within.
You alone the One who keeps
and to Your home will bring.
You alone are worthy of all creation’s praise;
You alone perfect in love
and just and right Your ways;
You alone the Truth and able
to do everything You would.
You alone the faithful One;
You alone are good!
You alone my Rest and Peace;
my Refuge in life’s storms.
You alone my Security
until glory dawns.
You alone are all I need
and You never will depart.
I trust in You… I worship You
with all my soul and heart.
