I Am Angry God
I am angry, God!
My dreams are gone,
my hopes are lost.
I thought things would
for us be good.
I know You know
and desire the best.
You have the power
and could have stopped.
But You chose not!
Why, O God, did You allow
this mess we’re in,
the miseries of sin?
How do You love
and care from above?
Your love exceeds
my desire for ease.
You used the hurts
to You to bring
and fill my heart with eternal things!
