When life is hard it makes you think what it is you really believe, if you believe at all. The poem “I am a Believer” was written to clarify in my mind just this. I know I am a Christian, but if it has no relevance to my life then it does not matter at all if I have a faith or not. But if what I believe is true (and it is) then it should impact everything I do, the whole of my life, whether circumstances are good or bad. And this I find to be so true! What I believe – that is my trust in God – brings amazing comfort and hope in a troubled world.
